Don't you just HATE changes?

Its been a week since Form 6 started.

Personally, i feel extremely EXHAUSTED. Both mentally & physically.

It might be because i have to get up even earlier than before,

or maybe its the looooong journey of getting to School,

it might even be the change of pace of EVERYTHING!

And so, i stepped into SMK Cochrane for registration day.

What i didnt expect was the many activities that IMMEDIATELY occurred after that.

I was like, "register, then i wanna go home sleep, or watch anime."

And suddenly, they were like "today, school ends at......2.40p.m.".......

Oh, and any thought of getting another week to rest was......

"this whole week got orientation. School ends @ 3.30 pm on wed & thu..."

Hello, Form 6.

Well, i admit, it was hard at first to get used to everything.

But,

i kinda enjoyed the activities planned by Upper Form 6's.

Like,

The Explore Race & The Charades. ><

Though, it was only a prelude to the REAL thing.

Fast forward to friday.

The semi-real stuff begins.

Like intro to subjects & teachers.

I like the teachers.

I find the "food" not that bad. (edible)

Oh, and 7 floors to walk up to for each lecture is tiring.

School officially starts.....next week.

Generally, people Hate changes.

Why?

Because they have to leave their comfort zone & adapt.

Adapting to a new thing is well......troublesome.

But,

Changes are in fact, inevitable.

Whether you like it or not, they happen.

Since it happens, and nothing can be done.

Might as well, change views.

Since i began realizing this, ive kinda welcomed them.

In fact, if changes didnt happen, chances to find out new stuff & learn new things would be

scarce.

Besides, in a sense, changes need not be a bad thing~

that is if you see it as not a bad thing la......

Anyways, thats all for this post.

I'm just too tired to think of "amazing" stuff to write to amuse all who might be reading.

A Summary of the Past few Months - Life (Part2)

In my previous post (part 1), i talked about jobs.

Yes, jobs for the past few months.

Anyway, i shall spend a moment to recap my lifestyle during these few previous months.

Yep, Life. Aside from those "jobs", that is~

Why? Because then i can see where my "precious" time disappeared to.

And so, brace yourself, sit tight (if you're sitting) & ~~enjoy your time reading~~ don't fall asleep.

By the way, if you do manage to sit through the whole thing, i commend you.

I really do.

Note: Most probably my flow of thoughts will be jumbled a little, so it may not follow timeline. Just bits and pieces here and there. Bear with me~

Now, where to start?

SPM over. Holiday starting. Boredom strikes.

So far so good.

Oh yeah, now's a good time to learn driving. And so i did. First however, i have to listen to 6 hours of BORING & 无聊 Undang class........

Ok, it wasnt so bad. At least they showed some crappy videos to ~~take away speaking time~~ ligthen us up.

Bad thing was? Ok, here goes.

I wasted (fine, i deserved it....) RM 50 to resit the Driving Theory Test.......Passing mark? 42/50

I got? 41/50......= =

Ive had it. im gonna read those 500 questions.......

2nd time? 50/50.

Hahahaha........serves you right. Who call you dunwan let me pass first time......

I still felt sad for some reason......

Skip to now. Ive got L license. Yes, L only.......And my parents are teaching me driving to save money for lessons to come.

Next, piano.

I need a higher grade. For further studies. So far, ive only gotten a grade 2 Theory.......

New teacher came. Cause my old one married an Australian and migrated there to live. How sad......

And so, classical pieces begin bombarding me.....piano, forte, staccato, legato, slur.....something i cant identify with. Soooo exam based. Well, i do wanna sit for exams.....

In my other time. Oh, before that,

i only practice my given classical pieces about a day or 2 before class. ^^

Other times? Play what i like. Sometimes i even upload anime piano themes on Youtube.

And then I......Wait, its a summary, so moving on.......

日本語の勉強は楽しいですよ～

難しいでわない、ただちょっとトリッキーだけ。

特に漢字です。

Yes, i also studied a little japanese. You see, i have an uncle who gave me quite a few japanese guide books. Might as well use them.

And i also started attending classes, although only a few, cause most of the students left.......

And the teacher stopped teaching.....

Anyhows, the teacher was kind enough to give me all those useful notes. (Which ive been lazy to use cause......well, i did say im lzay.)

My japanese is still nowhere near above average level. I often get stuck when trying to form sentences.

And have to think a loooooong time before getting it......

After that, Study.

No, you didnt hear wrong.

I wanted to have a major head start before starting Form 6. However.......

Well, i was distracted. The mood to study was well......

absent.

In the end, i only manage to get so far as the first few pages of my Biology Book.....

Fine, i admit. I failed in doing what i decided to.

So lets leave it to that and move on.

Outings. ><

Well, mostly to shopping malls, doing the same old stuff.....

1. Walk,

2. Cinema,

3. More walk...

4. Window Shop

~~5. Search for good, cheap, animes to buy~~

5. Eat (or rather, spend unnecessarily)

6. Go home.

Rinse, and repeat for next outing........

I would like to sidetrack a little here.

Todays youth activities, i find them.......VERY VERY (did i meantion Very? ) VERY DULL!

*inserts bored smiley here*

I mean, c'mon. Don't you have anything better to do than walk, shop, walk & movies.......how dull.....

I've often thought of more "productive" spending time with friends methods, however......

Sad to say, i haven't even came up with one........

In the end, its just meaningless time killing. What do i gain? Sigh.......

But i still go for those kinda outings, no doubt. Maybe one day, one day.....

Yep, thats about it. Part 1, jobs. Part 2, Life. Sums up my WHOLE entire few months holiday.

Well, many sort of things happened in between, which i forgot.

Isn't it boring? Well in a sense.

Though i don't think i could've lived it even better.

Regrets? Not one.

Moving on.......

And now, (nope, its not over yet. Have you fallen asleep? Good. )

I shall just put in random "events" and stuff which occurred during this holiday.

A brand new Dell Laptop

My dad just recently bought a new Dell Laptop for the Cookies Business (though we often use it for other stuff).

And that makes up to 6 PC's at home.

1 desktop for my mom, 1 extra old desktop, 1 mini laptop (my dad's, got for free through some subscription), 1 Church Laptop (my bro still uses it for his "personal" stuff), My own one (given to me by my uncle), though it's a little slow. And the new one.

This is A AWESOME Keyboard

I borrowed that from my church uncle. It's pretty great.

It has a radio player, and even a CD player which you can play the CD, then add it other stuff on your own!

Perfect for improvisation.

The only disappointment is the short range of keys and the too-light-touch.

"It definately is!"

I haven't played Quick Scrabble for a loooong time. I've gotten pretty rusty.

My friends even beat me in one game........

Anyway, during the Anugerah Cemerlang, i brought this to school (i received a prize for something)

And managed to challenge Puan Ushah to the 2nd unfinished & owed game before SPM.

Note: I played with her once before, when she was ganti-ing for a teacher. She had so much fun she didnt want to enter her next class. Since then, i've been looking for another chance to play with her, but never got it.

And so, my second game was played.

Satisfied? Very.

Did i win? Let's keep that a secret. *Shhh....*

K-ON!!

No, i didnt waste my RM 30 + for 10 of these mini figurines.

I made a wise and calculated decision.

Well, when i saw this set of K-ON! figurines, i just couldn't resist.

~~I yielded to temptation.~~

I bought it to "decorate" my empty shelf.

2 Seemingly "useful" Books

When i was clearing the books next door (refer to part 1 - jobs: "the book job"),

i found some good books, like those above.

I haven't read both books, but it looks interesting.

By the way, when i was watching an anime titled "Moshidora",

An anime about a high school girl leading a baseball team to the Nationals using Peter Drucker's "Management",

and found a book by that same author, i just had to see it.

I just love how Anime sometimes influences you in that sense. Like wanting to eat bread after an episode of "Yakitate! Japan".

You think thats it for my ENTIRE holiday?

Well, it's not.

However, thats about all i can recall.

Lucky for you.

Look at the time! Its almost 11p.m.

I'm awfully tired, and school tomorrow........(1st day)

Oh well.....looks like my holiday is coming to an end.

Basically, i have NO regrets whatsoever. I enjoyed my holiday.

Time to brush up, get ready, & start school routine again......

A Summary of the Past few Months - Jobs (Part1)

And so, this is how it all happens, and then.........

Next week is registration for Form 6.
School's gonna start soon, so let's do a recap of everything.
Yes, everything from Jan up till now.

Now, where to start? So much to tell, so little space. Well, its a summary, so......
Short, Sweet & Simple.

Here goes ~

SPM's over. Thank God. I had ~~a really terrible & dull~~ lots of fun.(no pun intended)
"Holiday" time, so i have to face my second greatest enemy - Boredom.

During this point of time, many will probably do one of these things:
1. Find a part time job.
2. Learn Driving (if not done already)
3. Laze around most of the time doing nothing.
4. Facebook. (Online)
And of course,
5. Find out about scholarships and colleges.
Not forgetting,
6. Hanging out with Friends.

Anyways, i found a job. (actually my mom found it for me). A wrapping hamper job.
No, you didnt see it wrongly. Yes, thats what i did.
Well, its a company which sells health products, like Ginseng, Bird's Nest, Chicken Essence....you get it.
With Chinese New Year around the corner, it got even busier.
Not only was i wrapping hampers like crazy (okay, exaggerated), i also had to help shift heavy cartons & boxes of "stuff" here to there.

At times, i even had to go together to send supplies to various branches, even as far as Damansara......
Man, was i tired out. Physically that is. I was sooooo glad to finally get a new job around mid Jan. A relief, right? As if.......

Well, many "interesting" things happened during my first job. I wont tell it due to lack of time & space. Its a summary, after all....

Arent children adorable? Yea, they are. Adorably irritating (oxymoron here) that is~

Yes, my second job was mentally tiring. 6 children, if im not mistaken.
My job? ~~Help them do their homework.~~ Homework guidance, in case they have questions. Simple? Definitely. High pay? Well, i work for 3 days a week, 2 hours a day. Pay is RM 10 an hour.

And then "it" began. The mental exhaustion, that is.
Hyper, active, inquisitive (they ask a lot of questions) & noisy.
Oh, not in a good way, mind you.

No comments about the hyper, active part. Noisy is normal. Questions they ask? Let's see.....
1. How old are you?
2. How much is your pay?
3. What are you doing after SPM?
4. Why are you here......?
5. ~~Do you know we are good kids?~~
And so on so forth.......annoying? Very.

We have a 小气鬼, a know-it-all, a sarcastic one, a want-my-own-way & 2 "dont-want-to sit-still-quietly-and -do homework" kids.......

Just thinking how i made it through those 2 and a half months of "torture" makes me thank God.

I also taught my Form 3 church friend Science tuition. No comments here, everything was normal.
In the end, she couldnt concentrate, so she stopped. Not that i have any complains.

Next, the Cookies making.
Chinese New Year was around the corner, what better way to make money than sell cookies?

And so, baking cookies i did. I earned around RM 500 just from that ~

Was it hard work? Well a little, but easy once i got the hang of it.
Well, practice does make perfect ~

And finally, the Packing Books "job".

Just for your info, the time gap between the Day Care job and this one is 2 months, i think.
What did i do in that 2 months or so? Find out in part 2.

Anyways, When i was really young, my family went to England for 2 years. And well, my father bought many books in boxes and brought it back to Malaysia. He opened a book store selling these books, mostly second-hand.
Well, after a few years, competition came up and he sold the store to someone.

And so, my next door was used to store all these books.
Just recently, he wanted to sell of and get rid of all those books, So he asked my to help and payed me quite a bit.

Believe me, it was とても dusty. I sneezed like crazy. I found many "interesting" books.
Even old ones, as old as 1930's. I also took some books to read. Not bad, brought back quite a few books~

I only did that for a few days. Had fun, a little tired, but good. 　

p.s. The books were so many that i reached the ceiling......

Now, this post, yes, this one, is a really Unique & Different one than all previous posts before. However, it fits the blog title......Randomness ~

But before i go on, will you please visit this site. JuniorsCookies is the name, and cookies are our ~~game~~ business from now on.

p.s. My mom did most of the site building work, my sister did a bit. And i did almost nothing, cause my skills suck when it comes to these kind of stuff.......

Whats it about?

Well, basically, my family and i are embarking on a "family business". A.k.a. "Cookies Business".
Since a while ago, when me & my sis (my bro too, ......rarely), wanted to earn some extra cash for whatever reasons, we began baking.........Cookies.......does that sound weird?

And well, for those who dont know, they are called the "Double Chocolate Chip Almond Cookies".

anyways, the last time, my sister wanted cash to buy Christmas presents for all her friends. She began making these cookies, and guess how much she earned? Well, not much.........around RM 500......ONLY!

As for me, i have a lot of FREE TIME after SPM.......so i began making too. Well, i earned about as much.....

Just some info about the Cookies.

1. Its my grandma's quantity & quality modified recipe. By the way, she bought it from someone, then did quite a few changes here and there. And thats what we're now making.

2. Our cookies customer base is considered quite......i wouldnt say large, but not that small either. Since we started selling cookies, our customers have grown quite a fair bit.

3. My sister first started selling these cookies to her primary 6 classmates. The sale was quite a hit. She managed to sell more than 10 tins.

And so, since the Cookies were quite a big hit (realised from past experiences). Why not make a mini (for now) business out of it?

A Whole New World God Only Knows - Oratorio The World God Only Knows

Once again, please listen first.

Honestly speaking, i didnt plan to upload any other piano versions of the spring season anime openings......
However, i found i had much free time. So i went ahead and arranged this.

The anime is Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai II (a.k.a. The World God Only Knows 2). The opening theme is as the title of this post suggests.

The anime is not bad. I would recommend it to just anyone. And this 2nd seasons opening theme is pretty good.
At first, after listening to the song, i was clueless as to how to arrange it. Its certainly not your usual anime theme.

So i basically just got down with the right hand melody first. And the chords were just.....................unique, i guess. Really different from the usual, albeit in a good way.

In the end, i made the arrangement reaaaaallllly simple. I just didnt know how to arrange the left hand accompaniment better.........due to lack of experience, maybe?

And so, another anime opening done !

with that said, have fun listening ~

p.s: Dont expect too much, cause this piano arrangement is really basic.

And so, the Spring Season Anime is finally here! However, compared to the previous seasons, it seems this season has 42 anime showing. Thats double the amount of anime shown usually.

Anyways, i wanted to upload an anime theme song from one of the new anime. So i scouted around for a nice and catchy theme song. However, i only found a few. How disappointing........

And those few good ones have already been uploaded by others. Thats when i came upon this -------------------------> Koi no Doutei by kanonxkanon.

Taken from the anime 30-sai no houken taiiku. I have No comments about this anime. If you want info, go check it up on the net. But please dont be surprised by what you find.

Enough said, the anime opening is catchy enough. So i listened to it several times, and played it by ear.

Personally, i find my playing a little too fast compared to the actual song. This is one of my weaknesses, playing a song faster than it should be (especially when my adrenaline level rushes up suddenly when im playing). But im too lazy to reupload it. ^^''

Memories Last - Maon Kurosaki

Before you read, be sure to watch and listen to the video below.

For those of you who dont know. The song is taken from To Aru Majutsu no Index season 2. Its the 2nd ending titled Memories Last by Maon Kurosaki.

At first, i didnt even plan on playing by ear this song or even uploading it......= =

Well, i guess i was a little bored and had some free time, so why not?

About my playing this time, the piano arrangement ........................

Frankly, i would say im not completely satisfied with it. This is my 1st EVER simplest piano arrangement of an anime song which i uploaded.

So dont expect anything or you might get disappointed. (Refer to 2nd blog post : Expectations & Satisfaction).

I guess the reason i still uploaded it was because i couldnt care less about adding this and that to make the song shine.

Yep, this song uses simple chords, so i managed to finish it fast. Oh, and if you have time, do listen to the original version on youtube. Though simple, i like the melody and tune.

All in all, just sit back relax, listen, and enjoy. ^^

A Trip to Genting

Anyways, before i write about yet another "trip", A riddle for you guys to solve. Here goes.

If you bake a really delicious bread, once its done, who is the first person you would give to eat?

Why did i put that picture from anime Yakitate!! Japan and the riddle? Answers are below after the post.

And so, this certain "someone" (I wont put his name, so guess if you like) and his parents were going for a 2 days 1 night trip to Genting Highlands. He then called me and invited me to join, ~~which i clearly didnt want to because i prefer sleeping and lazing around at home.......oh, and watchng anime.~~ I then responded positively to his invitation and went.

Now, when you think of Genting, what comes to mind? Amusement parks with many rides and games? Or maybe The Casino which you probably wont have a chance of entering because you'd most probably be underage. Or maybe ____________ . Fill in the blanks yourself, how would i know what you think?

Cause that above is what i think you'll think.

But the odds of you going there and doing "nothing" (refer to above examples, excluding walking around, cause if you dont do at least that, how are you going to get by?) is close to zero. Maybe 0.0001%?

Yep, you guessed it. Thats EXACTLY what me and the certain "someone" did. Nothing (refer to....." "....how are you gonna get by?)

I brought my ps2. And an anime DVD (the pic above).

For those of you who dont know, ps2 can play DVD's. So its really convenient, cause its like a portable DVD player. ><

Basically, our "activities" were as below.........

1. Almost get sick because of winding road. (ok, just me.....)

2. Check in hotel. Me and the "someone" had seperate rooms with a masterbed from his parents. I did mention its a HE, so dont get any funny ideas.

3. Unpack......ps2. = = (He insisted i bring it along.....)

4. Before that, walk around the place, seeing what there is to see. Oh, and having lunch in KFC.

5. Back to room, (I) watch (My) anime. For a "few" hours. And then play ps2.

6. Dinner. (Seems soon? Nope, we walked for quite a bit)

7. Continue anime. Play game........

Next Day,

8~~. Go to amusemsnt park to play~~. (At first i didnt want, while He wanted. And then, He didnt want.......Whatever, at least i saved my money. Im too lazy to describe in full what happened.....so ask if you reaaaaly wanna know. Otherwise, dont bother. )

9. Breakfast Buffet.

11. Time's up. Check out, go home........

Thats basically it. I wouldnt say i was bored. ~~Cause......WITH ANIME, ITS DEFINATELY NOT BORING!!! ><~~

Ahem.......fine, i had a seemingly okay time. And it wasnt in the least bit unpleasant.

For the answer to the riddle, here it is. Oh, by the way, the riddle was taken from the anime. ^^

Of course the first person you would give the bread to eat would be YOURSELF!!!

Reason: ~~Its anime, so no logic, no reason.~~ How would you know whether its delicious or not unless you try it for youself first? And if you dont know, how can you give to others to eat? That would be utterly prepostorous.

And with that, wraps up A 2 Day 1 Night Trip to Genting. ^^

Just another random outing

Time: 9.30 a.m - ??
Date: 5 April

As the 7 of us trudged wearily (exaggeration) under the sweltering heat of the Star at the center of the Solar System, each of us were deep in thought (exaggeration again....). The bus stop was approximately 5 metres away, and with utmost determination, we managed to arrive just in time for the bus to come. blah.....blah......blah

Oops........writers block......= =
Seems that my mind is blank........something that all writers fear but do come across at times......

Ah well, i guess ill just reconstruct the pieces of Chaos (refer to Victorique from the anime Gosick) and put them in simple terms........

After all, language is meant for communication, ~~though i love to bombard people with difficult vocabulary~~ so simple is good.

Me, Daniel, Edbert, Hui Man, Jay Ren, Kian Yang (Great, a newcomer. This is gonna be ~~a nice people combinations experiment~~ a fun time) & Lay Chen.

1. Meet together, get on bus.

2. Take bus to a place nearby Times Square and walk.

3. Go to cinema, check out movie time, pick "Just Go With It". ~~Though one of us picked "Hop"......= =~~

4. Walk around..........Go Starbucks, had a drink (ive never been to Starbucks EVER before, man its pricey, though i didnt buy anything). Talk about "interesting" topics to kill boredom. *Looks at Daniel & Kian Yang*

5. Walk around somemore. Go for lunch at Subway. Almost 2.00, so go to cinema.

6. ............................(just use your common sense)

7. Meet up with the "someone" who watched a different movie. Went to have "tea time". (i really wish i could try Mugi's (refer to k-on) tea & snacks.....so random......at least it fits the blogs title.....)

Note: I seriously didnt want to eat anything till dinner.......to save money of course......but i guess my stomach had the better of me......

8. Go for pizza at "whats its name again". Spent (Rm______) on just ~~2 slices~~ 1 and a half slices of pizza. = =

9. Go to train station, buy ticket, wait.........take train, and go our separate ways.....

Alright, im stopping here. I feel lazy to write more than this. Besides, nothing special happened anyways.....

Whats so funny??

Well, forget what i said in the last post, cause its an APRIL FOOL's! joke. ^^

anyway, just 2 things i wanna share, which i consider as a "lesson" for me ~

Im pretty fortunate that im able to update my blog on this extremly "old" laptop given to me by my uncle.
Before this, my laptop suddenly "crashed". Dunno what happened, but when i tried to start it up, there was an error which i never seen before.......

It was hopeless, i tried and tried, ~~and even took out all the laptop parts~~ but my efforts were to no avail......i already expected something like this to happen, just didnt know when it would. Good news is, i get a new laptop. Isnt it great? ><

And then, my father asked me to SEARCH the internet concerning the error displayed on the screen.....= =

I do admit, i was doubtfull about the idea, but nothing to lose, right?

anyway, i found out about the error, and turns out, its something to do with the hard disk. So i then took a screwdriver, unscrewed the hard disk (from the laptop), and put it back in. Doesnt that just sound ridiculous.....?

So much so, that when i turned it in again, it actually WORKED!! ~ ><

Lesson : ~~Dont search for answers to problematic devices so you can buy a new one~~ Always rely on useful sources such as the INTERNET to find answers, OR, simply saying, dont give up so easily on problems, but always try to find a solution ~

I bought a NEW Bleach ps2 game, which was actually the first bleach ps2 game to be released. The unlockable characters were limited......-_-

But anyway, i was already playing up to Mission 28, and had unlocked Rangiku, Renji & Kira. ><
and then, as i was half way saving, i ACCIDENTALY turned the ps2 off, causing my saved file to be .............corrupted.......= =

All my "hard work"......down the drain........all my hours (time is money, by the way), lost........just like that......i reaaaaally felt like crying........

Im not one to give up easily, and so, i started again, and of course, had gotten better at Missions. I vowed to play all Missions once ONLY, because of my gained experience, i managed to unlock Byakuya, Gin, & Hitsugaya. >< (x10)

Note: This situation is not the same as lets just say, downloading some giant sized file, and suddenly no electricity, so have to redownload. No,

This situation is where you improve in something you do twice because of first time failure. ~~Like the time i had to retake my Undang Test (Car Driving Theory) and pay RM 50 because i failed first time.~~

Lesson : Why not DO YOU BEST the first time in what you do, so you can prevent from repeating it another time (and thus waste precious time).

And if you still fail, GET UP AGAIN and do it even better than the first time. ><

And with that, a lesson (2 actually) well learned.

Time to move on ~

Thanx a lot for everyone who has taken time to read my posts and updates. ^^

Its been quite fun writting random but interesting stuff as well as getting constructive & usefull feedback.
Though its been only about a month, sad to say, i have to attend to MORE important stuff on my to-do list.

That is why, ill be halting posts and updates from now on ~

In simple terms, its been fun doing all of this, but I want to stop so i can refocus my attention and channel my energy towards more essential tasks.

This will be my last EVER post, so sorry to all of you who have been looking forward to new updates (though i dont think theres many of you ~ ).

Anime Mix 1

Well, heres my first piano medley consisting of my recently played songs. Only anime and japanese songs this time. Though i may consider others too for another time ~

p.s I only played a little part of each song, and not the full version, just fyi.

Before reading on, have a listen to the video first. ^^

Here's a more in depth description on the songs i chose for this one and some extra info :

1. magnet - Vocaloid

To be frank, i just dislike the robot like singing of vocaloid. It just lacks emotions and tone. However, some of the songs are pretty good, i must admit.

For magnet, i really loved the piano intro. ><
because of that, i started to listen to the full version and i have to say, its pretty great, the song and all.

2. Connect - ClariS

Ever since i listened to irony ( refer below ), i've been enjoying songs made by the singer. I still remember waiting impatiently for the full version of Connect to be released. And even though i wanted to play the whole song and upload it, someone else, with a better arrangement and quality did it first.

But i did play this quite often, so thats why its in here. The key has many sharps and flats, which i hate. It took me soooooo looooong to get all the chords and melody right......= =

3. Packaged - Vocaloid

Another Vocaloid original. This song's melody and accompaniment is very closely in sync with irony (refer below). After listening to it for a few times, i began playing it together with irony. And it just sounds amazing.

Even the chord progression is similar to irony. So i just chucked it in together ~

4. Irony - ClariS

And this here, is an extremely addicting song we have. In fact, its one of the longest and most listened songs in my list. I just couldnt get it out of my head. ><

5. Destine Historie - yoshiki*lisa

My second favourite beside irony. I play this a lot too. Chord progression is almost the same as connect.

Concerning the transition of each song ( the in between parts when changing to a different song) as well as the transposition, i had a little difficulty to decide which songs to put first.

Theres still much to work on in order to make the transition smoother. So do reserve judgement for the next video ~

Anyways, i hope all of you guys will have fun listening. Oh, and comments for improvement very much appreciated. ^_^

Listening maketh a Musician

Since this is my first music posting in the blog, i decided to do something special which i might consider doing each month.

If you live in my house, you'd most certainly ~~enjoy to the max~~ get bored of my piano playing. Reason? I play the same few songs for like almost everyday so that it becomes repetitive and dull. Combined with my same old style of playing, can bring about much distaste and irritation. (though i try to improvise at times)

Well, the majority of you (5 people excluded) do not live in my house, ~~though id certainly welcome you to do so if you want~~ so im pretty fortunate ~

Anyways, i've decided to post a medley of my recently (within this past month) played songs (which becomes quite boring because i play it for like 10 times a day?) up here. And hopefully, i'd be able to do that once a month, apart from postings of single played songs.

For those of you who dont know, i have a youtube account where i have already uploaded a few songs (~~mostly~~ all anime so far) which i find pleasant to the ears. By the way, i play by ear, so i just listen and play without scores or sheets, a pretty convenient way to play what you like. ><

Of Big Breakfast & The Curve (Part 2)

Xin Tian, Hui Man, Jay Ren, Me & Ker Shiong

After about 30 min + of driving, we finally arrived at The Curve. ^^

First thing to do, none other than watch a movie @ the Cinema.

Time: 2.00 p.m

Movie: Mars Needs Moms

At first, the others wanted to watch _______ (what was the title again?). A horror movie. ~~Thankfully~~ Too bad it was at 11.30 p.m (the only showing time). And so, since edbert said the Mars movie was not bad, we just went for it. The front part was a little boring, i admit, though the 2nd half part was quite touching.

It was so touching that ~~i was on the verge of tears~~ Xin Tian shed some tears. Though Jay Ren said she would NEVER cry over cartoons.........

After that, we walked around Curve for a bit. The girls were trying on some nail polish, me and Ker Shiong were bored, so we paid 40 sen each to measure our height and weight on a machine (not a bad way to make money, huh. for them, that is..... ) .

Next stop was Ikano.

Places we went and saw (in Ikano) :

1. Popular (the biggest in KL Malaysia)

2. Pet Safari (didnt know Xin Tian ~~liked~~ hated mice)

3. Euphony Music (i just LOVE the white baby grand. It can even play by itself. ><)

4. Clay Expression (i didnt go in though)

5. A digital products shop i couldnt remember.

Well, at least i resisted temptation to buy another Anime series this time.

Last stop, Ikea.

Seems the "Big" Breakfast wasnt big enough to last me more than i thought it would......And so, time for a snack @ the cafeteria. The food there is not bad. With reasonable prices and delicious offerings, many people gathered there to enjoy a meal. Crowded? yes, though satisfying.

Me and Ker Shiong had Swedish Meatballs while the girls had muffins and the special Soup of the Day.

All good things must come to an end, so we then walked to Burger King near the petrol station, climbed into my fathers Wira, and 依依不舍地踏上(drive actually)归途。

Overall, it was a great day, except for the mcD part. Everyone had fun. Hope we can hang out again in time to come~

疲れですが、昨日は本当に楽しかった～

Of Big Breakfast & The Curve (Part 1)

Went out yesterday with Ker Shiong, Hui Man, Xin Tian, ~~Lay Chen~~ & Jay Ren. And didnt we just have a great day. ><

First things first, Breakfast @ Mc D wasnt really a pleasant experience.

See the pic there? Isnt it such a good bargain? And we even had 3 of those.........
Unfortunately, many others also had plenty of those and chose the same day to use it....= =

By the time me, ker shiong, jay ren & xin tian arrived, you can already guess just how many people were lining up. And so, while waiting for hui man, ker shiong kindly chose to get in the extremely loooooong line.

We arrived at 9.30 a.m, though ker shiong came late because he thought it was at the McD in leisure mall.
Anyways, we waited in line for more than 1 hour without complaining. In the end, we manged to get to the front to order at about 11.05 a.m.

And this is where "it" starts. (i forgot exactly how the conversation went, so its clearly edited)

Lady A(because i dont know or care to know her name) : " Ive waited for more than an hour and still dont get breakfast (Really? We waited for even longer). Your services are just lousy. I demand to see the manager. (Looks at us) Can i buy my food first, if you dont mind. (Of course we do, ker shiong was too polite to say so, dont manipulate him just because of that......)."

Us: "Sure ok, no prob."

Lady A cuts in front......watever......nothing to lose waiting a little longer.......

Impatient lady behind us : (looks sharply at us) " How can you just allow that lady in front to cut line? Its unfair to the others waiting behind. You shouldnt do it like that.....blah blah blah (its too long....im lazy to write. ^^)

Us: (keeps quiet like nothing happened)

Finally, after like 10 min, we arrived at the front, but took another 5 min for someone to serve us.......
Well, 15 min of waiting is ok right? After all, we've waited for like 2 hours.........
And then, we got our 6 "big" (its small, cause i can finish 2 if i were hungry) Breakfast. Thank God.

My father used to tell me " a hungry man is an angry man " . How true.

When people start to get impatient, they lose their temper and start lashing out wherever and on whoever they can. And they get impatient because of their HIGH expectations. (refer to 2nd post on expectations).

This situation really reminds me of vincents note on pizza hut. It was totally NOT the staff's fault concerning the slow services. After all, if you have lesser people, then you just make do.

However, many impatient (refer to lady behind us as example) people just expect great services with a smile.
While we do deserve the best, we must always be considerate about the workers trying their hardest too, you know. And if not enough workers, then its too bad.

The staff even kindly extended the breakfast time to 12.

In the end, you just end up being unhappy over a trivial thing as a small meal which wont even last for 3 hours. Whats the point........

And so, with that unpleasant experience, we finished our meal, waited for my father to come, and then proceeded on to the next destination-------The Curve.

Mahjong Maniac

Anime : Saki

Just the other day, i accidentaly stumbled upon a video shop in Times Square where i found they sold some anime for just RM9.90. And it was a GREAT bargain, so i bought this 25 episodes anime which you could find mostly for about at least RM 30 for only RM 10. ><

Anyways, watching this anime, though i know nothing of mahjong, sure gets my adrenaline level to the max.

p.s. i knew nothing of mahjong or how to play it at the very begining, and even after all that, i still dont. Howerer, the fact that i was entertained throuout the whole series shows how great the anime is. I recommend it to anyone who wants something knew to try out.

Expectations & Satisfaction

SPM results day..........finally, ive been waiting for like ages. =.=

anyway, just a random muse to think about.

my parents often tell me : " if you aim for the sky, you fall on the tree. If you aim for the tree, you fall to the ground." Simply saying, aim for as high as you can.

Once you start aiming, you put an expectation towards yourself. And of course, if the end product meets your expectations, you feel ecstatic. Simple enough.

And if the results are below expectation, you feel disappointed. How sad.......

In the end, whether one is satisfied or otherwise, depends much on that persons expectations.

You might say, "then just expect less, so when you get more, you'll be happy."

However, expecting less robs you of much opportunity, which are :

1. Gaining a disciplinary character
2. The experience of enjoying fruits of labour and toil
3. Ways and means to improve.
4. Hardworking attitudes.
&
5. Satisfaction guaranteed.

So in the end, you expect little, gain a tiny bit more, and are satisfied with just that bit......how sad......

The positive thing in aiming high and expecting much is room to improve, be better. Thats one way to look at disappointments that come.

If youre satisfied, you wont TRY to do better, thus you wont improve and would be always behind.

Disappointments can be good in that sense.

As for my results, i would say im satisfied. After all, getting that much without studying THAT hard, and without tuition, BUT with Gods help, is really a miracle. In fact, if it wasnt for God, id not be getting that A+ for add maths. ^^

And with that,

Satisfaction Guaranteed. ><
